| Serious Case Reviews |
Bedfordshire LSCB is responsible for carrying out serious case reviews where a child has died and abuse or neglect has been confirmed or suspected. In certain circumstances, a serious case review may also take place where a child has been very seriously harmed.
When the case review is complete, an Executive Summary is published outlining the key findings (personal details are anonymised).

The Board is publishing the Executive Summary report of a Serious Case Review, relating to the case of Child J. The review was commissioned in 2009 by the Bedfordshire Local Safeguarding Children Board and was conducted by John Fox, specialist police advisor and independent SCR reviewer, Kevin Harrington.
